The statistical data is then compiled and organized in Google Analytics. As a web site owner, I can access Google Analytics to generally understand where my readers come from, and how people use the site.

Systems information is useful in understanding how to improve accessibility and compatibility for all devices and platforms. Usage statistics are helpful in reporting how people are using this site, so I can improve it.

I only use this information for my business. I do not share, rent or sell this data to other organizations.

However, the non personal information captured by Google Analytics is shared with Google. And Google stores and manages this data on its servers independently.

I will ask for your first name and email address.

If you fill out our contact form about my services

I will require your full name, email address, web site and information about your writing project through our contact form.

If you make a purchase from this site

I may ask you for your full name, email address, billing address and credit card number through PayPal.

On PayPal, I may have access to your name and address information, and the amount of the sale so I can have a record of my income. But I do not have access to your banking or credit card information.

If you submit comments to, the system that manages the comments will require you to enter your first name and email address.

Same thing if you request to be notified:

  • when others’ respond to your comment, or
  • when others submit new comments.

It’s up to you to make sure any photos or personal details you include with your comments that may identify you is secure.

At times, may allow you share content with your friends and followers on social media.

The personal information you share on these platforms is your responsibility. The data you do enter is the responsibility of the social media platform.

I do not rent or sell your personal information to anyone.

I might use the personal information you give me through to:
